Aluminum Rapid Prototype is kind of CNC rapid prototype and widely used in various industries. Some industry model requires high quality and appearance, so many CNC prototyping requires hand-made after processing.
So how many manual processing steps are required to get a perfect aluminum rapid prototype.
1, Manual processing
Manual polish the aluminum rapid prototype after finishing CNC machining that makes smooth edges and corners for assembly easy.
2, Spray painting
Painting the aluminum rapid prototype as customers’ requirement will make the prototyping more vivid and also protect it from oxidation or any other damage.
3, Silk screen painting
It can be silk screen painting company’s name, logo or any other marks in the surfaces as required.
4, Laser carving
Laser carving removes the painting from the product surface and make it transparent, such as car DVD or some key buttons.
5, Electroplating
In order to make the product details more attractive, some customers will require silver plating for more shiny. Such as Apple and Samsung logo, they all use silver plating in the logo surface.
6, Anodization
Anodizing is make the surface oxidation and cover a hard layer to protect the product from scratching.
7, Brush and high glossy polished
Brush makes the aluminum product surface with a fine mark and then looks with high quality. Of course, we also can do high glossy polished in the aluminum surface and it will looks like a mirror.
8, Sand blasting
Some customer requires sandblasting on the surface and it looks more texture.
9, UV Painting
UV Painting means spray a transparent layer on the surface and dry as protective cover to extend the life of products.
Of course, no all the aluminum prototypes require all above finishing, it is up to customer’s requirement.
